Cambridge’s Historic Swiss Laundry Reimagined to Innovative Offices

The former site of the 115yr old Swiss Laundry in the city is to be repurposed into 50,000sq ft of design led office space.

The old laundry building, which was originally a tannery next to the cattle market, had played a significant part in the city’s industrial heritage and will be revitalised to define the eventual layout of the site.

Connections2enerygy will be working with our client to arrange the upgrade of the existing HV electric supply by replacing the existing substation and increasing the available capacity.

We specialise in providing nationwide design and build utility solutions to regeneration and brownfield projects.

Connections Appointed as Haringey Housing Plans Approved

The demolition of 2 derelict properties in the London Borough of Haringey will create 23 new apartments in a four-storey block, and 3 new detached houses.

The Brownlow Rd developer was looking to deal with one company that could handle the removal of the existing utilities to allow demolition works to start, and then to plan, design, build and commission the new and upgraded water, electricity and telecom supplies to feed the site.

Connections2energy will project manage the utility requirements for the development through a single, dedicated point of contact that will provide our client with expert support and guidance.

The development will be served with an innovative heating and ventilation Nilan system that efficiently heats and cools the temperature, while also filtering the purity of the air in the homes through its extraction process.

We specialise in working in and around London and the South East, and we understand the complexities and frustrations involved in dealing with multiple companies to get your projects connected to the network – leave it all to us.

Call the team on 0330 0550 2559 or email us your utility connection requirements to info@c2eltd.co.uk – we’ll deal with the rest for you.
