Regeneration Project Improving Living Standards in Blackpool

Blackpool Housing Company, a subsidiary of the council, continues to purchase and regenerate inner area properties in the resort.

Additional funding has seen the council accelerate their ambitious programme, established five years ago, to target redundant, end-of-life or poor-quality hotels, guest houses and houses in multiple occupation.

To date, over 100 such properties have been transformed into 300 rental homes for single-occupancy and families in the area.  The award-winning project, which aims to have a portfolio of over 1,000 quality new homes on its books by 2025 was visited by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2019.

Connections2energy are working with the redevelopment company to arrange for the existing utility supplies and metering to the properties to be disconnected, relocated, and upgraded.

Care Home Plans for Vacant Lincolnshire Courthouse

A former magistrates’ court on Harlaxton Rd, Grantham will be demolished to make way for the development of a new £3.5 million, two-storey, 55-bedroom care home with 21 car parking spaces. It was estimated that the courts were only running at 25% capacity at the time of their closure in 2016.

On approving the plans, South Kesteven District Council stated that the development would represent a capital investment of over £3.5 million and would create a business that would eventually employ approximately 70 local people, on a full and part-time basis, given the 24-hour staffing of the building.

Our client wanted proposals to disconnect the existing utility feeds to the building prior to demolition works commencing.

C2E will coordinate the connection of a new medium-pressure gas supply and meter, and we’ll also get the existing electricity supply upgraded.

West London Retail Space Set for Mixed-Use Redevelopment

31new apartments and 2 commercial units are proposed to replace existing retail space in Hounslow, West London.

The Project Juliet redevelopment on St John’s Rd, Isleworth, will accommodate 15 shared ownership, and 16 London Living Rent units.

London Living Rent is an initiative for middle-income households who now rent and want an opportunity to build up savings to buy a home. This can be either through shared ownership or outright purchase. Landlords are expected to encourage their tenants into home ownership within 10 years.

Across London as a whole the average monthly rent for a 2-bedroom London Living Rent home is around £1,050 a month, roughly two thirds of the median market rent.

Connections2energy will arrange for the disconnection of the existing utility supplies, and we’ll deliver new gas, water and electricity connections for the project.

We specialise in providing cost-effective solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential developments across London.
