What is the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme?
The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) provides grants for public sector bodies to fund energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation measures in public sector buildings such as schools, NHS hospitals and council buildings.
The PSDS supports the aim of reducing emissions from public sector buildings by 75% by 2037, compared to a 2017 baseline, by switching to renewable energy solutions such as air source heat pumps.
At Connections2energy we have successfully upgraded electric supplies for many organisations such as schools regarding the PSDS, from initial application through to project delivery.
How Connections2energy can help
In most cases, buildings may require an electric upgrade for air source heat pumps to be installed successfully. If your electric supply requires an upgrade, our specialist team will be able to offer advice and make sure your electricity supply is ready for a heat pump.
Connections2energy provide full support and unrivalled experience with advising and delivering public sector projects. We offer a free capacity check service, to ascertain the size of the existing service and assist with any electric upgrades necessary, assisting you on your path to net zero.
