Permanent water disconnections are usually requested when a building is scheduled to be demolished. The process involves excavating and removing all supply pipes from the property up to the boundary line. If your supply is shared with neighbouring properties, it may need to be separated first.
TEMPORARY WATER DISCONNECTIONS
Temporary water disconnections are undertaken when a water supply is not required for a period of time. Once works have been completed, the supply can then be reconnected. Another option is to cap the water supply so that it can be used as a temporary builder’s supply to be reconnected at a later date.
