Location: East Sussex, United Kingdom
Scope of works: New Electric Connection, Electric Diversion, New Water Connection, Electric Upgrade and Gas Disconnection
Sector: Public
Project: Multi-purpose community hub
Connections2energy is delighted to be facilitating multi-utility connections and diversions for a youth club refurbishment in Hastings. The scheme is intended to increase the capacity of the building and improve its appearance and accessibility. The new extensions will include a new covered entrance space, a new cafe and seating area and a sports hall.
The works have begun with utility diversions taking place. Many sites contain essential underground utility networks. If construction works interfere with these networks, diversions must be completed. While diversions can facilitate projects otherwise obstructed by utilities, they require significant coordination and work programming. Following this, new electric connections will be completed to power the refurbished building.
