Location: Merseyside, United Kingdom
Scope of works: New Electrical Connections including:
1250kVA Substation, LV Mains and 8 LV Service Connections
Sector: Commercial
Project: Retail & Leisure Park
Connections2energy is delighted to have completed the electric infrastructure for the third phase of a premier retail and leisure park in Liverpool. The site stands in history as the former home of Meccano from 1914 to 1979, which has been commemorated with a 30ft Liver Bird statue, located in the centre of the park.
We facilitated 975 m of low-voltage cable to an X-type substation. The substation includes split RMUs, a brick-built housing, and battery charging facilities to power the 70,000 sq ft shopping park extension. We’re now delighted to see new units moved into the Liverpool based shopping park, including Wingstop, Wagamama, Five Guys, Costa Coffee, Hollywood Bowl, and a 20,000 sq ft Tesla showroom, including a Tesla Supercharger station.
Our client received a complete, end-to-end service, with Connections2energy acting as a single point of contact for all utility needs. We understand the importance of utilities for commercial developments, such as shopping parks, and every day counts when opening new businesses. With our experience and expertise, we make sure connections are delivered on time and efficiently.
“Lee and the team were great. Second time I have used them and again they were very helpful. The contacts they have to talk things through were invaluable.”
