Project: Redevelopment of secondary school campus
Connections2energy has been appointed to deliver a package of utility works for the redevelopment of a high school in Cheshire. The redevelopment forms part of a major scheme forming part of a national programme to modernise and replace outdated education facilities.
The project involves the construction of a new three‑storey secondary school on the existing site, providing modern t
eaching spaces, specialist classrooms, science labs, activity studios, and facilities to accommodate a sixth form and an enhanced SEN provision. Once the new building is completed, the existing structures will be removed and replaced with upgraded playing fields and landscaped areas.
As part of this redevelopment, Connections2energy will be delivering multi-utility services, including a new water connection, a water diversion and new electricity connections for the building. Coordinating these utilities early in the construction programme is essential to maintaining progress on a complex, multi‑phased site.
The redevelopment will take place over several years, with phased delivery designed to minimise disruption to students and staff. Connections2energy will continue to work closely with the project team to ensure that all utility activities are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with programme requirements.
