Connections2energy is proud to be supporting a valued client with their delivery of a major new health and wellbeing building at the University of Salford. The £40.7 million project, located in Salford, is a key part of their wider Campus Connectivity Plan and will serve both students and the local community.
The all-electric building, set to be completed in 2026, will house a range of healthcare-focused academic programs and be home to public-facing wellbeing services. Sustainability and innovation are at the heart of the build, and we’re proud to be playing a role in helping bring this important project to life. It is being designed to high sustainability standards and is expected to achieve BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold ratings.
Connections2energy will manage all aspects of the site’s utility infrastructure. This includes delivery of a commercial water connection, a temporary electric supply to support construction works, an electric diversion, and a 1000kVA electric connection complete with substation installation.
“This project is a great example of how having Connections2energy involved in the early planning stages can remove complexity and keep large-scale projects’ utilities on track. It’s a privilege to support such a forward-thinking development that’s set to have a lasting impact on healthcare education and community wellbeing in Salford.”
