We apply directly to your local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) on your behalf, the same organisation you’d contact yourself, just managed by us.

New Gas Connection

Connecting your home to the gas network for the first time, or reconnecting after a period without gas. We manage the Gas Network Operator application and coordinate delivery to your timeline.

We work directly with Cadent, NGN, SGN and WWU depending on your location. The process is managed entirely on your behalf.

New Water Connection

New mains water supply for new-build properties, conversions or properties without an existing connection. We apply to your local water authority and manage the process to adoption.

For single-plot water connections, we work with the incumbent water authority directly, managing the process entirely on your behalf.

Can't I just contact the network operator myself?

Yes, you absolutely can, and we'll always be honest about that. For domestic connections, we apply directly to the network operator on your behalf. What you're paying for is our expertise, our established relationships with the network operators, and the time and stress we save you. Most of our domestic clients come to us having already tried the DIY route and given up in frustration.

How long does a domestic connection take?

Timescales vary by utility type and network operator area. Domestic electric connections through the DNO can sometimes be completed within a few weeks for straightforward new connections. Gas and water connections depend on the relevant network operator's workload and your location. We provide a realistic timescale at the quotation stage and keep you updated throughout; you won't be left wondering what's happening.

I'm building a self-build home, do you handle all the utilities?

Yes, self-build connections are one of the most common domestic projects we manage. A new self-build typically needs gas, water and electric connections, and coordinating all three simultaneously is exactly what we do. We can manage all three utilities through one account manager, keeping the connections aligned with your construction programme so each service arrives when you need it, not before or after.

I need a supply upgrade for my heat pump or EV charge, can you help?

Yes. Heat pumps and EV chargers often require an upgrade to your existing electricity supply, either an increase in capacity or, in some cases, an upgrade to three-phase. We manage the DNO application for the upgrade, coordinate delivery and ensure your supply is ready for your installation contractor to connect to. Getting us involved before your installer quotes means there are no surprises on the day.

Is there a minimum project size for domestic work?

No, we work on domestic projects of any size, from a single new connection to a full self-build utility package. We give every client the same dedicated account manager and the same standard of service, regardless of the scale of the project.
