Connections2energy are working in close partnership with a consultant for their client’s exciting new project in London. Located in Covent Garden, the development will include a new hotel and residents’ club, offering club flats, a rooftop bar, bistro, restaurant, gym, and a wellness centre.
The project involved a refurbishment of a Grade II-Listed historic building. The existing fabric will be re-used with the addition of a three-storey glazed atrium to allow natural light to flood the lower levels.
Connections2energy delivered new commercial electric connections, a gas and electric disconnection, water diversion and a new water connection. Utilities are a specialised aspect of projects like this, often presenting their challenges, especially given the central London location where various permits are required. However, Connections2energy expertly navigated these complexities, collaborating closely with this client, planning the utilities well in advance to ensure timely completion.
